Charterhouse Shooting Team

The Charterhouse Shooting Team, arguably one of Charterhouses’ most successful team, ventured to Cambridge on one of the hardest fixtures of the year. On Sunday 3 February, the Charterhouse CCF shooting team had an extremely successful trip to Cambridge University for an away match, returning with an impressive winning score of 1491 to 1436.

Speaking about the day, pupil Charlie Reay commented: “The match against Cambridge was a great experience for everyone in the team as it pushed our abilities, enabling us to become better at the sport. We also gained an insight into what life is like at Cambridge University while talking to some of their team members and during a tour of the town. To get the win against Cambridge was a great achievement for us.”

The team are looking forward to competing in other fixtures in the future against Cambridge.

Well done to the shooting team!
